Confirm there's NO CONTRACT Since you already have Helio service, you already have a Helio contract. You don't want an additional contract. Confirm the seller does not require you to sign a service contract,
equipment contract, or makes you activate the Helio replacement phone through them.

Always CONFIRM the Helio phone as a CLEAR ESN You want the ESN to be clear. If the ESN it isn't clear, you will not be able to activate it. Reasons why most phones have a bad ESN: If is stolen and/or it has a past due $ amount from the previous owner. We recommend you request the ESN number from the seller, then call Helio yourself at 888-88-HELIO.
Note!If the seller refuses to give the replacement phones ESN to you, but GUARANTEES it's clear... it sounds like a reputable seller (they're just being cautious). If they refuse to give the ESN and REFUSE to guarantee it's clear... do NOT buy from them.
What and Where is the ESN:The Electronic Serial Number (ESN) is a unique 11 digit number assigned to every Helio phone. To locate this number, remove the battery, and it will be located on the back of the phone (it is not located on the battery itself).

Confirm what ACCESSORIES come with the upgrade Helio phone. There might be something missing that's important to you. Standard accessories: Battery, home charger, owner's manual / CD, USB cord, earbuds, factory box.

Confirm the CONDITION of the Helio replacement phone.
Hopefully there are pictures that easily show the condition of the phone. If not, simply ask the seller to please send over a picture, or perhaps describe the condition. Good

How's the phones screen, are there any cracks?
How's the web browser, will it go online?
How does the phone open and close, any hang-ups or sloppiness?
